Super Mario Bros. x Pokemon

We can all learn from Mario about life :p

So I read that Nintendo is being attacked by PETA because Mario is wearing a tanooki suit and PETA thinks that it’ll give people the thought that it’s okay to wear fur.  Then PETA goes so far as to making this site Super Tanooki Skin 2D. They also posted actual killings and skinning of the raccoon dog which is disturbing and gross.  First of all, why attack now when Mario was wearing this suit since the 80’s and who would play Mario bros. and the first thing they think of is “Mario’s wearing a fur suit so it must be okay to murder a raccoon and wear it!”.  Why don’t you go and actually save animals instead of wasting time complaining about pixelated characters doing something that wasn’t even intended to be interpreted as, PETA.  This is so ridiculous…I bet that PETA is just doing this just to get attention again >_>
